Barrister Rabia Gillani is an Advocate of the District and Sessions Courts, Islamabad. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Air University, Islamabad, and subsequently graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of London. She further completed the Bar-at-Law and LL.M. in Arbitration Law from BPP Law School, London, and is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn. In addition to her academic and professional qualifications, Ms. Gillani is an accredited civil/commerical mediator, having successfully completed a 40-hour Mediation Training Course in the United Kingdom, as well as the New York Part 146 Mediation Training Course. She is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (ACIArb), reflecting her growing expertise in alternative dispute resolution.

Ms. Gillani is currently part of the litigation team at Buttar & Associates, working as a Junior Associate and is actively engaged in a broad spectrum of legal matters. Her legal practice encompasses civil, family, rent, taxation, service, banking, and commercial law. Ms. Gillani has been involved in advising clients, drafting legal instruments, and assisting seniors in cases before various courts and fora, thereby developing a well-rounded and practical understanding of both contentious and advisory work.
